Solar Program: Sites
Ansar Energy PV Solar Projects will be distributed across multiple sites to facilitate grid stability, expedite permitting, and benefit multiple communities and municipalities.
Sites, which may be capped landfills, greenfield sites or large roofs, under consideration include:
- Leominster/Fitchburg Airport
- Attleboro (multiple sites)
- Spencer
- Hubbardston
- Holbrook
- Beverly
- Norton
- Sturbridge
- Westminster
- Worcester (multiple sites)
- Each municipality or other site owner is expected to receive an annual lease payment and possibly an up-front lump sum at the full financial closing, to support local schools and other needs
Final site selection to be reviewed with utilities to provide distribution system support
